Make a hardfile with the BII gui, assign it as a harddrive.
Seems to me from the above you have no destination other than the install disk. ;)
The emulation will boot and ask if you would like to initalize the "drive" from there try the install again.
The Basilisk II config is the hardest thing about the emulation, I have never set it up right the first time, always save a config before running it, always load one you've made to make changes, this will save you frustration.
Some OSes require a enabler to be installed before they will run, this depends on the cpu and the mac model you are trying to emulate. Not much of an issuse with the emulator. Try setting the model to Quadra 650 if you have problems.
To swap files from the host pc to the mac emulation open the Basilisk II folder and copy the files into the Virtual Desktop folder. You can mount drives and folders or the whole of My Computer to be accesses from the emulation, use this option at your own risk, its safer to use the virtual desktop before starting the emulation.
