okay, to clarify, i have the system disks on the emulator, but they wont read... i click them and they say "cant read document" to paraphrase... so i am guessing that they arent readable or they are corrupt, since i expanded them both on pc and mac... but maybe your previous email was explaining that this is ok, and that i should just put them on the designated hard disk and proceed. i thought an installation procedure should occur, starting with opening up the install disks by double clicking them... and to repeat i double click these system 7.5.3 disks and they arent opening any sort of install process!
