Hi
I've bee doing several test on quadstor vtl, and had nice perf (close to
100MB/s sometimes)
decided to switch to disk backup using quadstor storage, and perf are very
low on same hardware (only a couple of MB/s)

using HP servers
DL380 g6 / smart array p410
DL380 g8 / smart P420 or P822

sata drives (12x 4TB 5900rpm or 22x 1TB 7200rpm) raid 5 or 6

all accesses or done through 4Gb/s FC

once switches to quadstor storage, i can see on the quadstor system in
iostat that disk at 100% almost all the time, with between 500KB and
sometime up to 7-8MB transfer (but more rare)

could it be something related with block size the storage is writing,
compared to VTL to make the RAID controler saturating or something likt
that?
