Hi, Mixed mode was actually the default behavior before. We have disabled this by default since for most cases this is not required. To get back this behavior please add the following to /quadstorvtl/etc/quadstor.conf EnableMixedMode=1
Then in the VTL configuration page, click on "Add VDrive" and a different type of drive can be added. After that when creating a cartridge it should be possible to add one supported by the drives in the library.
