Hi, You wouldn't be able to remove a disk once its added to a pool if any tape data exists on that disk.
You can try migrating the data from the disk to the other disk(s) in the same pool https://www.quadstor.com/vtlsupport/disk-migration.html Since it looks likely only a few hundred GB needs to be migrated this should complete very fast.
