I believe the objection to it at the time was that a change needed to be made to zebra/interface.c to accommodate the change in status. But I've looked at the code and we generate the correct cli now without any changes: interface swp4 description swp4 -> r5's swp4 link-detect ! interface swp5 description swp5 -> r7's swp1 link-detect ! As that this is what is generated now for our builds. thanks! donald
