How would I (or my ci system) know that it's against another branch/commit? Any suggestion on how to detect this or mark the patches?

So, this would be solved if we submitted git heads.

E.g. a git head could be provided in a cover message for a patch series.

Also, anyone already know Docker or Rkt and know the appropriate magic to setup a gitorious or gitolite container, in a way that will work on a host with 1 public IP and already running a web server? (I've heard rkt has a better network model?).

Be good to setup a 'people.quagga.net' Git hosting thingy again. Which could help with this stuff perhaps...
