you go from "no transit traffic (and maybe loops >1-hop away from the router, or blackhole for a neighbour, in a mixed environment" to "no loops or blackholes, but potentially traffic through a router you really didn't want traffic through". Whether the admin prefers the loops over unintended transit, we can't know.
