Hi,
I have solved https://bugs.launchpad.net/quantum/+bug/1044135. Please
see https://review.openstack.org/12297 <https://review.openstack.org/12297>.
I guess that I should be scolded for this one.
Thanks
Gary

Hi,
Following Dan's example here is a update:-
Reviews:
* Quantum*
Testing agent - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11189/ - had a few
inline questions. I still need to tests (which hopefully I'll get round
to soon)
L3 Metaplugin agent support:
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11637/: looks good. The port deletion
was problematic.
L3 RYU agent support: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12197/: look
good. Requires another core review. [It would be good if Dan or
Salvatore take a look as one of the interfaces in the l3-agent is updated]
netns runs as root - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12281/ -
looks good
netns cleanup utility - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11651/ -
has problems with the l3 network devices (please see comments)
* Devstack*
l3 agent support - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11380/ - some
minor problems need to be addressed
Testing/bugs:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/quantum/+bug/1044135 - I have worked on this
for a few hours but to no avail. I am still looking at it. Maybe one of
the fixes from yesterday could help
(https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12290/). As of yet I have yet to
encounter the OVS agent handing. If there is/was an exception this can
explain the reason for the tap devices not being assigned tags.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/quantum/+bug/1012543 - I am still working on
the documentation.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/quantum/+bug/1034161 - I think that we have
addressed this with comments posted by Aaron and the DHCP and L3 agent
support for platforms that do not support namespaces. Can we close this bug?
Updates pending review:
L3 agent without namespace support -
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12002/
Fix port update with OVS agent -
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12290/
Fix network delete with OVS agent -
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12291/
Most concerning issue is the bug with OVS agent which I am trying to
reproduce.
Please note that on the 4th of September there is a Fedora test day for
Openstack. I hope that some may get round to testing Quantum....
Thanks
Gary
