I don't believe there is any simple way to run ESXi with Quantum at
this point. Really you should need two things: 1) update the ESXi
virt layer to performing "vif-plugging" in a way that associates a
quantum port-uuid with a VM vNIC on ESX and 2) a plugin that can
communicate with the ESX vswitch and potentially other switches to
isolate and direct tenant traffic.
I'm confident that Grizzly will start seeing some significant
improvements in ESX support within OpenStack in general and I think
this is one very interesting angle to explore, but that's about as far
as I've gotten on the subject.
