Hi folks, I've started doing something, and thought I would pass it along. Each time I have a review day, I try to pick one thing I think can be improved about the Quantum admin guide, and submit a fix on it.
A good trick is to look at issues people have been sending to the ML or launchpad answers and figure out what content should be in the Admin Guide to have prevent that person from running into that issue. Ideally, we get to the point where the answer to most ML or Launchpad question is simply pointing the person to the right part of the Admin Guide where their question is already answered. Of course, we're a ways from that, but I think its the right goal to push toward. If you've never submitted a patch to the admin guide, its pretty easy as it follows the git + gerrit workflow, see: http://wiki.openstack.org/Documentation dan -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dan Wendlandt Nicira, Inc: www.nicira.com twitter: danwendlandt ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
