Hi folks, A review by the stable-maint team caught an issue with the patch to improve quota performance. In particular, while I believe the original patch was valid, reviewer feedback to add the get_x_count methods to the base plugin class ended invalidating the use of the hasattr check for backward compatibility (since all plugins inheriting from the base class end up "having" that method).
I file a bug on this: https://code.launchpad.net/bugs/1081259 and posted a possible patch (https://review.openstack.org/#/c/16566/), though I think there are several ways to skin this cat. I'd appreciate some quick looks at this, as we will need to get this right for G-1 (i.e., tonight). Please provide feedback only via the review, so we keep everything in one place.
