Hi folks, I had a question on this, so just wanted to give people a heads up. At each milestone release, we branch on tuesday, creating a milestone-proposed branch. After that point, master is effectively open for G-3 commits, even though G-2 has not yet been released. If there are any bug fixes we find in the next two days that we consider important for G-2, first commit them to master, and then I will back port them to the milestone-proposed branch for G-2. Please notify the core team directly if you think there is a bug important enough to warrant back porting.
For reference: current master, effectively G-3: https://github.com/openstack/quantum/commits/master milestone-proposed, effectively G-2: https://github.com/openstack/quantum/commits/milestone-proposed You'll notice that the two most recent commits to master are not in milestone-proposed, meaning they will land in G-3 unless we decide that they merit backporting to the milestone-proposed branch. Hope that helps! dan -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dan Wendlandt Nicira, Inc: www.nicira.com twitter: danwendlandt ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
