According to the bug report, markmc is preparing a new release, so I think we don't need to revert the change. It is some kind of dependency problem. The above change depends on a new version of osol.config, but the patch does not update oslo.config requirement in pip-requires. I should have updated pip-requires in this patch, but we forgot it. If we take care of pip-requires, we can avoid such change being merged until a new version of oslo.config is released.
