When you say hijacked do you mean that someone has actually stolen your
account using your username and password and therefore you can no longer
access it? Or is someone just sending email that purports to be from you?
>From the way you describe it sounds like it may be the former.  Let me know
directly and I'll see what I can do to help you out.  If it is the latter,
there is nothing that can be done basically as when an email is sent the
there is no verification from the receiving email server that the sender is
actually who it says it is.
 
In the mean time I've checked the various blacklists for your mail server
(blimps.fsnet.co.uk mx is an alias for fsnet.co.uk) and none of them are
black listed, so any system that uses one of the black lists should not be
blocking on this basis.

[1] A mail server can actually check the domain name of the mails reported
sender against the IP address that is connected to it, however this is not
normally enabled as anyone running a private sending server that has network
address translation would be blocked and other interesting setups that often
occur.

I sent a reply to your question 2 days ago - please check your Spam file as
my email has been hijacked and is used by others for Spamming.  My reply may
well have been rejected by your Spam filter.
 
If anyone on the group knows a way of overcoming this problem then I would
be grateful for any advice - off group
