Apart from needing a modified rear upper engine mount it should all fit straight in. Make sure though that it's been built for a non-turbo compression ratio.
And also if it's a full engine that it's not got a EFI head (MFI is ok) as the ports won't fit your manifold. And remember that the XR2 carb won't be big enough for 2 litres so you will need to find a bigger carb, maybe something off a sierra or granada could be made to fit the XR2 manifold.
