I'm toying with breaking or selling the white 2+2 I bought last year.
I get the feeling it's been built, run, taken off the road and used as a parts bin to keep another on the road as it came to me missing a few bits and pieces. I've slowly done it up replacing bits here and there. It still needs work, but I also have the red turbo 2+2, an XR2 and a Mondeo to keep on the road, so together with a wallet/time consuming photography hobby and a full time job I'm not getting the chance to do anything with it and could use the space As a whole car it needs finishing (needs carpet and seats fitting, indicators need bonding in and mirrors need replacing) and an SVA. I honestly cant see me getting around to doing it this year and I haven't got time for it even if completed. All panels and the main shell are fine, drivers door has dropped a little but still opens and closes, and theres a couple of cracks on the rear bumper but nothing too bad. The bonnet catch needs replacing and it sits quite high, so probably needs the springs replacing. I have all the parts needed, most are new and can include them if necessary. There's a 1600 CVH in there that breathes a little heavy but sounds decent enough. There is also a soft top, but it's not in the best shape ever. I don't think it would be useable so if you don't already have a replacement, you're going to need a garage to store it. If anyone's interested in it you're welcome to it for not much money. You'll need a trailer as it's not road legal, and it's in Mansfield Notts Happy to provide photos or more info to anyone interested, just let me know.
