I have uploaded a program called GearCalc to the files section. This was written by Peter Ogden and states the copyright/distribution rules at the top.
GearCalc is copyright © 2000-2002, Peter Ogden. You are authorised to download, copy and/or distribute at no charge. The author (Peter Ogden) retains copyright on the source code. The user must not disassemble or reverse engineer GearCalc. If you wish to include this program on a compilation CD (or similar) for wide distribution, I would appreciate a short e-mail informing me of this. So I believe it is ok to post here. Please feel free to remove if you believe it enfringes copyright. This is a great little program which takes tyre size, max power revs and diff ratio as well as up to six forward gear ratios and gives you theoretical max speeds in each gear. It also shows the rev drop on changing gear. All-in-all a top program.
