Went to the DC museum with some of the SKCC guys last Sunday to watch
the GP. 20 people in 7 kits ( a few tin tops as well) ranging from a
Magenta to a Cobra. There are some great roads when you come off of
the speed trap laden A75. The museum is worth a visit if you are in
the area and the scenery on the twisty roads is stunning. Got my new
Toyos fitted a few days before so it was a good test of how good they
were (very good) while following the Cobra.

£12.50 was the cost for entry to the museum, brunch, watch the GP
(boring) and some fantastic scones with cream and jam after the race.
Even the weather was good. Only spoiled by a water pump leak on the
way home but made it home ok with no real drama.
