It's possible. When I got my kit the braided lines that had been
supplied were made by someone other than Goodridge and they were too
long by about an inch at the most. I managed to get either the fronts
(I think) to fit OK, but I just couldn't get the rears right. New Q
supplied me with the Goodridge ones and they were fine.
You also asked about a heatshield for the exhaust. I don't know about
the other models, but the Zetec-engined Fiestas came with heatshields
that run from the front of the car to the rear - I think it's in about
four or five pieces. There are pictures of it in the build manual..
