It seems to be the way they run things there, as separate accounts. Maybe they are on commission. I got a steady 10% on a lot of things but it does vary. I have bought things for the boat and other cars as well, they are not fussy and I found Meurig very helpful on queries. There is no official amount though "up to 20% on certain items" means pretty much nothing as 0% discount fits that description! I've never had any trouble getting discount there, from free postage to about 20% on somethings. Just phone and ask for it.
