I used a digital - phone image to claim for a cracked alloy after falling in a pothole. direct to the council.
I didn't get greedy just claimed for the alloy but it did take a while.
sent in the invoice as requested and they paid up. £287.and some pence for one alloy was well worth it.

Digital seem to be fine these days (only hearsay). Honestly is all the faf, and mental stress worth a couple of tyres? Note I'd still write to both parties, just not actually see it to legal proceedings.

A speed hump max height is 10 cm I recall but can't remember angles etc.

Good luck

Hiya

Not sure on the digital camera if a JPG, but if you know someone who
has an SLR that can take RAW - these cannot be modified.

If you have problems, I have an old 35mm compact I can lend you if
required.
