Details below from my list compiled during build. Mine is a mk2 saloon
(guess yours is). The Escort cable is a bit longer than the fiesta mk2
cable.

Does anybody know which variant of Escort that the handbrake for the
saloon comes from? The one fitted is the normal XR2 one which is very
good in the way it goes across the petrol tank.
I have had a quick look on Ebay but there seems to be different types,
some are one piece, others have separate parts for the left and right.
It just says Escort in the build manual.
