Having replaced the brake fluid I now find that the pedal is still spongy and provides little braking effort. I suspect the master cylinder may be faulty. However I can hear a fairly pronounced hiss from the servo when the brakes are applied and, if the car is idling, the engine coughs and splutters.
I have tried my usual suppliers and none are able to source a replacement. Does anyone know of either a supplier or where there is a MkII fiesta being broken.
