I wondr why they (DVLA)need technical details- they couldn't even get their
figures correct for the number of seats in my car......

But- DVLA (Borehamwood) who told me 2 months ago they could inspect
within a week have now ' withdrawn' the service of home visits....
They also now have a new V55 form with more technical boxes e.g.
Wheelbase size.. (nothing not available from IVA results), and
apparently I will get a letter telling me how to get the car to them
without a the need for a trailer or a tax disk .........ploy to get me
out of the office, or a 'new way of working' ?

P.S. I remember someone discussing about LED's and if they are
accepted by VOSA- I have them for side repeaters now on the wheel
arches - no problem with the flash rate (front and rear are normal
bulbs) or intensity or angles of visibility.
