Subject: [Quantum Owners] Saloon surplus to requirements
I find myself in the position of having too many cars for the room
that I have, I know some would say it is impossible to have too many
cars, but my wife does not agree. Plus my 2+2 has passed IVA and I
have the yellow saloon. The car in question is the saloon that I
bought earlier in the year with the LPG conversion. I bought it with
no MOT and replaced the screen with a new top tint item, two new tyres
and track control arms to get it through the MOT. Since then it has
had new front shockers and springs, new disks and pads, new exhaust,
reversing sensors and wheel bearings all round. Plus on top of all
that the gas regulator had to be replaced.
It has a standard XR2 engine and the interior is XR2 apart from
Corolla GTi seats, which have lots of bits to adjust. The car comes
with electric windows, mirrors and sunroof. The two rear side windows
have been rebonded this year but the rear screen could do with being
done.
All in all a very usable car that I have been using daily since I got
it and have added another 5000 miles plus to it. It is not the
prettiest of cars as it could do with the paintwork sorting but you
can leave it anywhere and not have to worry. The MOT runs until
February next year.
The plus point of owning this car is next year you would be a key
member of the 200,000 miles plus contingent at Stoneleigh kit car
show.
I am open to offers on the car and will answer any questions.
Russell
