I'd just like to wish Eddie good luck with the future of the original Quantum cars.
Whilst perhaps not of immediate interest I see Pistonsheads always seems to have a debate of some sort about what people want from a kit car, whether or not that is a very representive view of the wider kit car buyer is a different matter. Worth a read if you have the time http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=30&t=941472&mid=106959&nmt=Future kit car design in a commercial context? I'd have thought a small economical and good handling coupe based on a small hatchback could still find buyers if costs were kept in check. Going back a bit to the suggestions of the Focus and Golf as a possible donor, I myself think they're just too big/ wide track to be suited to a new Quantum, even the Mk6 Fiesta is a fair bit bigger than the original Fiesta donor, I think that's as big as a Quantum should ever get. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quantum Owners Group" group.
