A bit difficult to take photos as mine is fitted inside of the inner skin of the boot lid. I received the full kit for this which included a puller bar that fits into an arm that sticks out of the latch mechanism at one end and into the moving section of the “servo motor” at the other end. The length of this arm determines the position of the “servo motor” directly in line above the latch such that the moving part is in its neutral position with the latch closed. I routed the cable between the inner skin and the lid to a point next to the offside hinge such that there would be minimum twist/extension each time the boot is opened. For this I used 2 core screened cable as it is more resilient than normal two core cable. The switch is hidden from view but easily accessible next to the immobiliser and it is now connected to a permanently live source as I learned to my cost that if you lock your only set of keys in the boot along with your briefcase just before a critical meeting with an important client in their car park, the last thing you want to do is to try and find a live wire to activate the switch! With this in mind, it might be pertinent to fit a second switch in a hidden place accessible from the outside.
