Just thought i'd mention the good service i've had from Footman James. I had my house insurance through them as well as the Quantum as they were the cheapest for that as well. A month or so ago my brother had borrowed my toolbox, was using it at my parents house and when he'd finished he left it in a locked garage The garage was then broken into and the toolbox stolen.
Anybody whose moved my toolbox knows how many tools there are in it ! My parents house insurance wouldn't cover it as it was mine not theres. I tried Footman James not expecting it to be covered at, they weren't sure and said they'd get back to me. Of course i expected them to say no as well. But after checking with the actual insurance company they came back to me and said it was covered under the "contents temporarily away from home" section. The insurance company took all details over the phone, i emailed them an estimate to replace the tools and they sent me a cheque yesterday for the full amount minus the excess. So thank you Footman James.
