Hi,

According to the response I got when I asked a similar question of an
insurer was that you are stating where the vehicle is *normally* kept. So
leaving it whilst camping for a week is fine. I'm also lead to believe that
if it is within 1/4 mile of your home then it needs to be in said garage
over night. So if the pub is within 1/4 mile and you decide to leave it
there, you may not be insured against theft. I'm not sure if you can apply
the normal rule if say you left it out overnight on axle stands as you were
doing work on it, clearly not a normal state.

Subject: [Quantum Owners] Insurance small print

Just been looking at the small print about garaging of my car on an
insurance quote I've just had and had a shock.
It states "the vehicle is to be securely garaged when not in the course of a
journey (i.e. not just overnight)"
Does this mean you can't camp or even park at the pub? Dont like the sound
of that.
