One of my mates has release an app onto the Android market which can be used to check the road tax status of cars. Just enter the reg number and vehicle make.
What has this to do with Quantums? I was helping him to test it, so as a special touch he's added "QUANTUM" to the pick list of car manufacturers to choose from. It's not there in the pukka DVLA list. =o) Obviously, if your car isn't registered as a Quantum it still won't be found, but there's a facility for entering the manufacturer's name longhand if you need to. The app is a small download, it's free and should run on any Android phone - just look for "Vehicle Tax UK". I intend to make use of it next time I call a taxi...! NB. There are facilities for checking insurance status as well, but it's a bit more fiddly due to having to enter captcha codes. TonyV. (It's also got LATHAM F2 listed if you really look.
