You need to use the CVH water pump for the extra clearance between the
engine and the inner wing.

I did it the same way as Mark after contacting him when I started the
conversion. The only difference was an adapter plate with welded on
studs was bolted to the block to allow the CVH pump to be fitted
rather than drill the block.

Don't forget to machine some material off the crankshaft V pulley as
per jim's site instructions too or you'll wonder why it doenst line
up.....

I just used adapters bought off eBay and the XRtwo forum so I could
bolt on a standard XR2 exhaust manifold and carburettor. I used a
silver ESC unit to control spark.
