Always thought the Mazda RX8 is screaming to be rebranded with a standard engine range and called the Ford Capri.

I would have me one of those. :-)

Maybe Ford could make more profit resurrecting the old models? A few legislative/emissions probs I suspect?

On ebay at the moment there is a 1800 Zetec fiesta turbo and if mine was not
already blown iI would consider buying it.
It was only a couple of years ago that a friend was trying to sell a Mondeo
engined Fiesta XR2 that went like the clappers as I drove it and can
confirm. He only got £750 for it and it also had all the right suspension
and wheels to match.

Your absolutely right Jim

With the Fiesta Mk1 & 2 now being classic and being restored, parts ae
now becoming expensive.
At £750 it sounds reasonable, but you do need a few parts to make it
so
