Mmmmmm I am not sold on this yet, maybe its because I live in the warm soft south where it can be very mild even in winter. I have not boasted about my daughter on here but she is making a media career for herself and as a race licence holder (she races her own Porsche 924) and very good looking (I am biased) she has become very popular with Michelin who have flown her out to Estoril and Valencia to test a variety of tyres and I know she has done a lot of work on winter tyres too. This her latest project http://www.milesperlitre.com/?p=607 I will ask what her findings were. I used a pair of forest rally tyres on the road and track (Castle Combe) and they were fantastic in the wet but as it dried they were a nightmare on dual carriageways etc. I reckon a lot of modern cars are overtyred width ways and could benefit from narrower tyres in winter as winter tyres would be ripped to shreds during most of our mild winters. Just a thought. ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, November 19, 2011 11:29 PM Subject: [Quantum Owners] Check out Winter Tyres vs Summer Tyres | Feature Videos | Videos | Auto Expre
