Good points, I have had experience of a glassfibre fuel tank, but
it's a bit mixed as petrol tends to leach out the gum from the
material and gets into the fuel system.
The ads I have seen around here state that they make stainless fuel
tanks so I presume they know what grade SS to use.

would aluminium offer significant advantages over SS. Would also be
useful to get an informed view on the possibility of using blow
