For sale is a project car that I bought 7 years ago (So the V5 tells
me!) but have made no progress with due to a house move which occurred
soon after acquiring the car.The reality is sinking in that the car is
never going to be finished and that it would probably make sense for
it to go to a new home where hopefully it will get back on the road.We
will still retain an H4 which *will* be back on the road this year (I
hope).
As you can see the car is a blue gelcoat finish in what I would
describe as good condition. There are a couple of minor marks but no
major crazing/damage. I am not sure if it is a Quantum built car or
owner built. The number plates have the Quantum factory details.I have
no history with this car that I can lay my hands on other than the V5.
The engine was being changed by the previous owner from a CVH to
Zetec. The engine is installed along with gearbox but the modification
wasn't finished.I was going to install a Megasquirt system. There is an
exhaust with the car with a Zetec downpipe end welded on.
The fuel tank has been changed but I wasn't planning on leaving what
has been fitted as it is a bit low.
The interior has been mostly removed and two "race" seats have been
installed.I have one door card. The dash has an "interesting"
modification - A new dash will be required (I was planning a Puma/Ka
conversion). Car comes with a soft-top which isn't currently fitted
but looks to be in OK condition.
It also comes with a number of boxes of Mondeo wiring/loom bits which
is where the engine came from. The V5 shows the engine as 1.8L
It has newish looking Wolfrace wheels on it and the tyre tread looks
good but as it has been standing for a number of years they should be
replaced.
Open to sensible offers and viewing is welcome. We are situated in the
midlands just off Junction 22 of the M1/J12 of the M42.
If you want bigger/higher-res photos let me know and I can e-mail them.
Any questions ask away
