Hi Les, with my "new" blue saloon refusing to start due to lack of fuel, I bought a new one of these from my local Ford agent (an old Sierra I once had lost 8mm off the push rod in 90k miles and I thought this might be my problem). It wasn't: the rod didn't seem to have lost any length at all...so I now have the old one as a spare...if you want it. (I fitted the new one to the car together with a new pump..and it starts now). Send me an address and I'll post it to you...I'll then eMail my costs and you can reimburse me with the postage and whatever you think a second hand push rod is worth. You probably know how much I gave for the new one!!!! best wishes, Bill

Does anyone have an old engine kicking around that may still have this item in it and would be willing to post it onto me? Obviously costs would be covered at the very least. Many thanks from a fuel starved engine! Les -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quantum Owners Group" group.
