Thanks Ian, Indeed I could not have had a better weekend the suit that Michelin organised fitted her perfectly and was embroidered with her web site and name plus she was given race boots and all fireproof bits too. She was chaufered in courtesy of Rolls Royce and dined with them. She went to the ball and today she took Toyota's new GT86 (launched in Spain NOT Portugal) up the hill and was allowed a passenger so wife Diane went with her. On the way up she had the traction control on and took it off to go down and did several burnouts and got it sideways a lot and the crowd loved it with lots of applause. I still cannot believe that Toyota think so much of her to entrust their latest important car to her, its such a shame her brother is no longer with us to see it too. I thanked Toyota and Michelin as they kindly extended their hospitality to us too. I was relegated to punka wolla and carried crash hat etc but got into the inner sanctum and at signing on I was surrounded with many famous drivers and known motorsport personalities, it was like Madame Tussauds but with the real people. One fly in the ointment was my Quantum 2+2 which I used to get there on the Sat, the electric cooling fan failed and the temp rose to 115 in the queue despite putting the heater on full, however it did not boil or pop a gasket, good old blue oval! Hope you all had as good a time as I did at LLandow and I would love to join you next time.
