Apart from trying to trying to find a newer seal, putting a seal around the
edge of the bonnet so no water will run into the engine bay will help.
I have a P shaped self adhesive seal stuck to the flange on mine, works very
well.

Of course, won’t stop water splashing in from puddles.

A new seal won’t have a hole in the middle that leaves a gap, it’s a tight fit
on the shaft.

Subject: [Quantum Owners] Leaking through front bulkhead 2+2

hi everyone, problem with leaking for a while now, leaking occurs with soft
top, with hard top, and with a cover (half cover not full cover) on my 2+2. I
can only assume that the water runs down the windscreen and through the gap by
the bonnet and then drips down and comes in where the break pedal passes
through the front bulkhead, there is a rubber seal there but its a bit old and
cracked and even if it was new there is still a small hole in the middle,
anyone have any advice or ideas? Thanks, Calvin. --
