After a lot of deliberation I am seriously thinking of selling my saloon as I just have too many cars and not enough time, but don't worry I am not going totally Q'less as I still have Vince's old saloon.
My thinking goes along the lines of....I have 4 cars and 2 motorbikes and ride a bike to work everyday so the cars do not get used apart from on a week-end and I cannot drive 4 over the space of a week-end so I spend my time keeping batteries charged, cars washed, tyres inflated, brakes free etc etc. Selling the saloon and one if not both of the motorbikes will give me more time to spend on the vehicles I have left and of course spend some time with my family going away in one of the two caravans that I have. The main reason for this mail is to see if anybody in the club is interested in the car as I do not want to put it on Ebay. For those who do not know the car it is a yellow saloon that was originally factory built it is 'P' registered and currently has my personal plate E2 RUS on it and no if I do sell it does not include the plate or the wheels that are on it as I want to put them on the other saloon but it will come with some Wolfrace Octane wheels unless any prospective buyer has their own wheels. It has a 1600 CVH fitted and may have had bits done as it does not seem standard but cannot say for sure. During my ownership since 2007 the car has had a full windows out respray (still have about 2 litres of paint left), new top tint windscreen fitted at the same time, anything it has needed mechanically, the dashboard flocked in black by me and has also had a brand new Magnex stainless exhaust fitted in the last few months. It has the now getting rare Mazda electric mirrors fitted although I never got around to connecting up the electrics (see I told you, no time) and it has a towbar with electrics. The only thing that I am aware of that needs attention is the passenger side electric window which has probably done the usual and cut through the runner. I have really enjoyed owning this car and it grabs a lot of attention, especially the colour but needs must as it has only done about 900 in the last year. If anybody is interested or knows anybody that is please get in touch, I have photos of the car and can answer any questions that you may have. I am open to offers but will not give it away like I did with the 2+2 as it means too much to me.
