Good afternoon all I know I am using a thread which is for something else, but there is a tenuous link i.e. Stoneleigh. My wife and I will be coming down on the Sunday in my H4 which I will be putting up for sale at the Show. I think a reasonable asking price would be in the region of £2250, but I would be willing to negotiate any decent offers.
I would have preferred to keep it, as I built it myself in 2001 and have used it as a summer car since then. It has however become more difficult to do the maintenance, due a back problem and I have not been using it as much as I would have liked to due to the awful weather over the last couple of years. Some of you may remember the year before last it won a little trophy for being the best H4 in the Club's area at Stoneleigh. It is a red gel coat car with a 1.6 CVH engine and all the standard Fiesta bits except the seats and door cards which are from an XR2. It also has alloy wheels (original Fiesta ones) and a rack restrictor to prevent rubbing on the wheel arches. The mileage since I built it is a little over 10000 dry summer miles. If anyone is interested, or knows anyone who may be interested please let me know and I can supply further details. I have just returned from a holiday in Tenerife which is why I have not posted this before. I did not seem to be able to post anything on the forum from abroad.
