The Saloon Build Manual has details and pics.
I would expect the 2+2 Manual to have the same.
I expect someone will respond post Stoneleigh.

Subject: Re: [Quantum Owners] Re: 2+2 headlamp "flaps" go mad

Erm, something of a revival (was this really 5 years ago?!)

I still havent sorted it, but thinking of starting again on wiring in the thing
again. There's that much wiring in the engine bay from a carb'd car, then EFi,
then FRST that I think ignoring it might be a good option.

Right now, my headlamp flaps are down permanently, everything seems plugged in
that should be, but I think the wiper motor itself is now caput.

Which brings me onto the point - would anyone be able to tell me / show me the
alleged modification to the wiper motor for the 2+2

Thanks

Andy

Have you checked the grease on the little contact wheel inside the mech?

After many years of working the grease can pick up small particles of metal
which wears away from the contact wheel - it then has the lovely property of
being conductive grease which then leaves the flaps doing exactly what you
said. Pop the disc out, wipe it over and pop it back in.

    OK, back to this one

After a bit of testing I thought I had it sorted, until I went back out to
the car a few hours later to find the headlamp flaps doing a little dance of
their own. So this is happening without ignition power which I didnt think was
supposed to happen

Unplugged again for now until I have more time and a recharged battery
