I got an agreed value from AF when renewing my insurance earlier this year after I received a stupid quote from FJ and had checked with Andy what was the going rate.
AF send you a long email with a list of details and photos required which you complete and send in from whence they give you a value. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was £1000 more than I had expected so it is worthwhile. I sent them in a disk with considerably more photos than required which provided far more detail, including the bad parts such as a partially sprayed ding in the rear bumper and a missing clock on the dash so they appear to be fair if you play by the rules.
