Just wanted to add my comments to the excellent show. To the many helpers [commiittee and others] who put together all the aspects of the club stand [i'll include myself as well] for presenting one of the best stands on the showground - i'm sure if the event organisers were to award such a prize we'd be in the running !
Great to see so many members there - in general but particularly at the AGM & BBQ. A special thanks to ALL the many helpers on the catering side . I don't think many other clubs do as much for their members . To be continually fed and watered from Saturday afternoon to Monday lunch was absolutely great .And good news that no matter how many turn up we never run out [and also finish up with minimal waste] I'd like to thank all members who came and supported the club shop . A few suggestions for me to look at . Bumper sales this year [just finalising figures but approaching £1000]. A particularly big thank you to my shop helpers - Sue, Martin , Robert and Matt - who enabled me to have a few hours break and see part of the show. Only another 12 months until the next one ! Don't forget i'm at Newark on the Saturday only - if yoou want any item please contact me in advance .Arrangements can be made if you also come just on the Sunday.
