It's sometimes useful to have a choice (especially when original supplies are running low), maybe we can compile an "Alternative Quantum Parts List".......... Needing a number plate light for the Rickman (same No Plate lights as 2+2) has led me to a Transit light of very similar dimensions 1985 on, cost for 2 new ones £7.90 off our favourite online auction site. The hole in the GRP will need reducing to enable a tight fit around the 'clips' on the rear, however the good news is that the new light fully covers the old hole, so it could be (carefully) patched with no painting required.
