Had the mot booked for today, it didn’t fail but it didn’t pass either. It didn’t get that far. Last night the stupid plastic coolant hose Y connector threw its toys out of the pram and snapped! I got home on a recovery truck ( under insurance ) with all the food shopping in the boot. Grrrrrr I’ve made up a temporary one from household copper piping fittings, which seems to be working, until the new one arrives. Of course, I didn’t have all the bits I needed did I? Oh no!! That would be Too easy. I had to get on the old push bike for the first time in a year to get them. 45 mins on dull roads.........I ache now. Still, it’s all part of the fun of owning a kit car................I’ve ordered a spare as well. Mot rebooked for next week.
