Im confident prices will rise again within 5 years or so, at launch these cars were stylish and contemporary, ahead of their time almost, then from about 10 years ago they fell into that not new not classic teritoty, but now they offer something many others can't, an MX5 is similar, an MGF is similar but neither look like a true classic whereas the 2+2 does, to me it looks like another interpretation of the classic lotus elan, again a car that for many reasons will hold its value, 10 years from now MGFS especially will look dated and no doubt rusty, ours stand every chance of looking factory freash indefinitely, especially since most of us still like to tinker, Each time i walk towards my car across a carpark i fall in love with it all over again, i can't help but think those responsible for styilng it did a fantastic job especially since it wasn't styled by a big automotive design studio, its the pretty cars that historically do get remembered in time and will catch on price wise, take a look back through history, invest in a 2+2, its a dead cert
