I am based North Birmingham B73 area and have a couple of bits I want to offer to quantum owners before uploading them to a well known on-line auction site. All money's raised will go to my 2+ respray!!!
Update on for sale thread... The shed clearing continues... Standard XR2 steering wheel, seen better days but is still serviceable. Free to collector. Later version mk2 XR2 gear linkage assembly £10 Mk2 XR2 steering rack (please note, check if this is suitable, I believe Quantums do not use the XR rack but I may be wrong as mine is customer built). £10 Mk2 Fiesta XR2 radiator, pattern replacement. Very little use, good condition. £25 XR2 rear anti roll bar, drop links present but no body fixings. (I think Quantum used their own). £10 Steering cowel mouldings (both top one around hazard indicator switch and lower around key). £10 Complete standard XR2 wiring harness (provisionally sold) Dash parts (Collected). Front brake callipers from XR2 castings only, been shot blasted, ready painting or plating and rebuild. Some minor surface rust from storage. Bore has been protected during blasting process. No pistons, seals bleed nipples etc, £10 Unused 2+ nose cone / bonnet around £12-1400 new? Mine £400. Hard top Mk2 in Black gel coat. Finished inside and out by Quantum Stourbridge. Gel coat now fading, but may polish out, new £7-800 Mine £200 (no offers). Saloon nose cone, (provisionally sold) Exhaust Magnex incl 4-1 manifold for mk2 CVH £200 XR2i 1.6 CVH engine etc (Collected) Quantum saloon. Single owner since build, used as a daily driver until 3 or 4 years ago when Dad became self employed and had to buy a van. White gel coat finish, XR2 Donor. Jan Speed exhaust manifold. K&N air filter, carb re-jetted accordingly. XR2i wing back front seats Elec windows, central locking, alarm immobiliser. Quantum fitted electric tilt & slide sunroof, ( although this is now disconnected as it is faulty) Well finished inside and out.
