Whilst getting insurance quotes on the Q saloon, I was asked what suffix plate the donor was - I said E reg, same as the Q is now ( but a different E reg), and quoted the guy the number of the donor car. He typed this in. read out the description as Fiesta XR2 White, and said it was still 'live'. This doesn't surprise me because I had a demand for Road Fund Licence on the fiesta(or sorn) several months after the fiesta became the Q in 2009. On telling (reminding?) them it had become a Q, they sent a letter stating 'we note you have told us you have either destroyed or disposed of the vehicle (or similar words). I'm keeping the letter for the occassion 10 years on that they try to get £3000 out of me for old RFL!!! Waste of space in Swansea? - Turn their offices into housing, and save their wages could be a good move.......... Rant Over. Martin
