I have replaced the smaller bulbs with type 509T (12V 1.2 watt) from
Halfords. The design is not exactly the same but they do fit and
they do work. There are 8 of these and they are for the individual
lights, the ign red light, low fuel, etc. The 5 larger ones are for dial illumination and appear to consist of a type 501 (12V 5 watt) also from Halfords, but glued in a plastic container. I have not found the complete bulb anywhere so I bought some 501 bulbs and just soldered them directly to the pcb. Having removed the blue filters the light is now white and bright. I took some pics and will write this up for the mag as there seems to be some interest.
